We are a community of believers who celebrate a love that has so impacted our hearts and lives, it has changed us forever! In our world, some people may call it irrelevant, simplistic or foolish. But for us at Covenant Bible Church, this Love is the answer to a broken world.
Sunday Morning Worship – 10.45 a.m.
Our 11.00 a.m. Sunday Morning Worship begins with a smile. You will be welcomed into a warm, friendly atmosphere. Dress in a way that you are comfortable with. You will find most of our folks dress casually but some dress more formally.
We open our hearts to God in worship through songs, music and Scripture. Our uplifting worship is a blend of contemporary songs and hymns, and some of the hymns may have a contemporary flavor.
At the end of this time, we provide an opportunity for children (ages 5-12) to leave to attend Children’s Church.
Our sermon time is an opportunity to open Gods Word together and discover how Christ can change our life. We want the Bible be presented in a way that includes application to daily life. We typically have a sermon series, in which we go through parts of Scripture verse by verse, in an expository style.
We traditionally partake of the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of the month. There is always an opportunity for individuals to pray with a pastor or another church leader after each service. We may also give attention to any of our local or international missions.
Sunday School – 9.30 a.m.
The purpose of our 10.00 a.m. Sunday School ministry is to teach God’s Word to adults and children, and to help them enter into and grow in a vital relationship with Jesus Christ.
The adults typically take a book of the Bible and study it verse by verse. The children have a Sunday School curriculum they follow.
Nursery for both Sunday School and Morning Worship is available for ages 0-4, and a children program is available for ages 5-12.
